PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for vacuum die casting which can produce a casting having satisfactory strength.;SOLUTION: The vacuum die casting die 30 comprises: a pair of first insert 120 and second insert 220 mutually put together and forming a hollow 35. The first insert has a parted structure. The parting face parting the first insert crosses the contact faces 121, 221 of the respective inserts. Further, the parting face parting the first insert has flat faces 140, 140' parallel to the contact faces of the respective inserts. The second insert also has a parted structure similarly to the first insert. The parting face parting the second insert crosses the contact faces of the respective inserts and further, has flat faces 240, 240' parallel to the contact faces of the respective inserts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
