PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new amylase activity-measuring substrate and an amylase activity measuring reagent containing the substrate, and a method for measuring the amylase activity by using the substrate or reagent.;SOLUTION: This substrate for measuring the activity of the amylase is provided by containing a maltooligosaccharide derivative expressed by general formula (I) [wherein, (n) is an integer of 0 to 8] and being used for measuring the amylase activity in a sample.
