PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a graphite press-fitted material, in which no new step is needed in press-fitting soft graphite powder to a base material, loss of graphite powder to be press-fitted is reduced, and graphite powder is hardly separated from the base material, and to provide a graphite press-fitting apparatus. PSOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the graphite press-fitted material, the graphite is press-fitted to both surfaces of the base material. Cold rolling is applied to the base material by means of at least one pair of work rollers with graphite stuck to the roller surface. There is also provided the graphite press-fitting apparatus.
