PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyol composition for a polyurethane foam that includes a layered clay mineral uniformly dispersed therein and uses as a foaming agent a supercritical fluid having a small environmental burden, to provide a polyurethane foam excellent in heat insulation, dimensional stability and the like and to provide a process for producing the polyurethane foam. PSOLUTION: The polyol composition for a polyurethane foam is produced by blending 0.1-20 pts.wt. layered clay mineral with 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of a polyol, a foaming agent, a catalyst for the urethane reaction and a foam stabilizer and is characterized in that the foaming agent is a foaming agent comprising a supercritical fluid.
