PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent traffic from being discarded caused by the logical dissolution of a loop by a RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol).;SOLUTION: In the system, though a plurality of bridges are connected to configure a loop physically, it is recognized that the respective bridges are logically disconnected at one of links on the basis of priority allocated to the respective bridges according to the RSTP. The system includes a plurality of monitors for obtaining traffic information in a tree topology at the present point of time, and a server for determining a logical disconnection link on the basis of the information obtained by the respective monitors. In the server, evaluation values reflecting the traffic in the respective bridges are obtained on the basis of monitor information, a disconnection link candidate for balancing the traffic on the right and left of the prescribed bridge is determined on the basis of the evaluation values, and the priority of the respective bridges is operated so as to execute the logical disconnection of the RSTP at the determined disconnection link candidate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
