PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a manufacturing process of a low-viscosity dispersion containing organic pigment fine particles having small particle sizes and a narrow particle size distribution; a manufacturing process of an organic pigment fine particle dispersion which reduces the amount of a dispersant for dispersing organic pigment fine particles, enables use of dispersants unstable to high concentration alkalis, and makes the kinds of applicable dispersants abundant; and ink for inkjet recording and paint using the organic pigment particles prepared by the processes. PSOLUTION: The manufacturing process of the organic pigment fine particle dispersion includes a step where an organic pigment solution, in which an organic pigment is dissolved in an organic solvent, and a surfactant solution, in which a surfactant with a molecular weight of 1,000 is dissolved in an organic solvent, are joined together in a flow path to obtain a joint flow, and the joint flow further comes together with an aqueous medium in the flow path to generate the fine particles of the organic pigment.
