PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an ear tip for an insertion type earphone capable of sufficiently securing acoustic isolation and having a structure which is easy to insert into an external acoustic meatus and difficult to slip off.;SOLUTION: The ear tip 14 is a structure including a first ring shape flange unit 14B which spreads in a nearly parabola shape from a front end part of a cylinder part 14A, and a second ring shape flange unit 14C which further spreads in a nearly parabola shape from the back end edge toward the back. Moreover, a near part of the front end part 14C1 in the second ring shape flange unit 14C is formed thicker than a near part of the back end part 14B2 of the first ring shape flange unit 14B. By the way, when the first ring shape flange unit 14B is brought into ring contact with a wall surface 2a of the external acoustic meatus 2 in a status involving elastic deformation somewhat, the second ring shape flange unit 14C maintains the original nearly parabola shape substantially without deformation. Also, the second ring shape flange unit 14C itself is brought into ring contact with the wall surface 2a in a state involving elastic deformation somewhat in a backward side of the first ring shape flange unit 14B.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
