PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analysis method which enables measurements of the concentrations of respective metal elements and a lithium/metal ratio, with high precision.;SOLUTION: In the analysis method for measuring the concentrations of metal elements in a sample solution, which is obtained by decomposing the positive electrode material or the like of a lithium secondary battery, by an inductively-coupled plasma emission spectral analysis method, the exciting temperature of plasma used in the inductively-coupled plasma emission spectral analysis method is set to 4,900 K or above, and an internal standard correction method is adapted for measurements. When at least two kinds of elements among lithium, aluminum, nickel, cobalt and manganese are contained in the measuring target elements of the sample solution, as an internal standard element, gallium is used with respect to lithium, aluminum and manganese and copper is preferably used with respect to nickel and cobalt.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
