P To provide a mounting device and method for an external angle member of synthetic resin-made siding for facilitating mounting of the external angle member of the synthetic resin-made siding, providing excellent appearance of its external shape after mounting, achieving satisfactory construction work securely and shortening a term of construction work by using this mounting device. PSOLUTION: This mounting device for the external angle member of the synthetic resin-made siding is provided with locking groove parts 3 and 3 ' formed ON outer sides of end parts A and B of both of right and left side pieces of a bent plate body 1 in a bent manner and having U-shaped cross section. In this mounting method for the external angle member of the synthetic resin-made siding, the mounting device is fixed while inner side faces of both of right and left side pieces of the bent plate body 1 are made to abut ON the corner part of a building, end fringe parts of a plate-like fixing part of the external angle member of the synthetic resin-made siding are fitted and locked into the locking groove parts having the U-shaped cross section and then a projected corner is attached to the corner part of the building by utilizing a mounting hole formed in the plate-like fixing part of the external angle member.
