PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring network system and recovery method of the same in which it is confirmed in failure cancellation that a network system configuration is identical to that prior to failure occurrence, and then the network system can be recovered into normal state.;SOLUTION: On the basis of configuration information which is stored in a configuration information storage unit 208, with respect to a network, of a plurality of slave stations under a normal state of a communication system and configuration information which is acquired by a configuration information acquisition command frame acquisition unit 207, with respect to a ring network, of a plurality of slave stations in recovery of the communication system from an abnormal state to the normal state, a configuration information determination unit 209 determines whether or not the configuration information under the normal state is coincident with the configuration information after recovery.
