PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhibition information distribution system which can accurately set a communication range of each exhibition area, and consequently distribute exhibition information of the adjacent exhibition areas easily and surely without overlapping.;SOLUTION: An exhibition information distribution system comprises: a content server 13 retaining exhibition information, a communication device 20 established in each exhibition area, and a portable information terminal 30 carried by a user. The portable information terminal 30 acquires field intensity of radio wave of predetermined output from the communication device 20, determines whether the field intensity is not less than a first field intensity, and requires exhibition information of the communication device 20 in the exhibition area when it is determined that the field intensity is not less than the first field intensity. The exhibition information in the exhibition area are retrieved in the content server and transmitted to the portable information terminal 30 through the communication device 20.
