PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary closing device for a dam body capable of reducing cost by reducing the size of the whole device and comparatively suppressing the strength of each part even if the depth of water at a portion of the dam body where the dam body is to be temporarily closed is deep, and also provide a temporary closing construction method.;SOLUTION: This temporary closing device includes: a cylindrical member 10 which is installed on the inner wall surface 32 of the dam body 31 on the reserved water 70 side and which has both end surfaces 10a, 10b extending along the inner wall surface 32 and opened; and a cover member 12 which is detachably installed on the end surface 10b among both end surfaces 10a, 10b of the cylindrical member 10 which is apart from the inner wall surface 32 and which closes the hollow of the cylindrical member 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
