PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an etching liquid for a conductive polymer, which exhibits excellent etching performance to the conductive polymer, and to provide a method for patterning the conductive polymer by using such the etching liquid for the conductive polymer.;SOLUTION: The etching liquid for the conductive polymers contains 0.5 wt.% and ≤70 wt.% (NH₄)₂Ce(NO₃)₆ or ≥0.5 wt.% and ≤30 wt.% Ce(SO₄)₂.
