P To provide a protruding part of a garment reduced in the number of man-hour for cutting and/or sewing, reduced in cost and ensuring favorable wearing feeling: to provide a men's bottom garment having the protruding part: and to provide a method for producing the protruding part and the men's bottom garment. PSOLUTION: The protruding part (1) of a garment includes a protruding top area (2), and a side edge part area (3) surrounding the top area. The protruding top area (2) is formed of knit fabric knitted with a knitting structure more stretchable than that for the side edge part area (3) formed of plain knit or the like. The side edge part area (3) is formed of knit fabric knitted with a knitting structure containing knit-missing stitches or tuck stitches and more hardly stretchable than the top area (2) of the protruding part. Further and the top area (2) of the protruding part is knitted with a gauge larger than that of the side edge part area (3), and both of the areas (2) and (3) are knitted in series.
