PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard member capable of improving the cleaning properties of a door pocket space and the appearance of the lower part of a door pocket while preventing the strength degradation of the lower part of the door pocket. PSOLUTION: The baseboard member 1 is arranged along the lower end 4a of a wall member 4 which partitions the door pocket space 3 for storing a sliding door 2. The baseboard member 1 includes: a receiving part 21 for supporting the lower end; a baseboard receiving part 20 having an opening 22a passing through along the same direction as the thickness direction of the wall member; and a baseboard body 10 which is intended to open and close the opening, and is disposed so as to cover the front surface side of the baseboard receiving part with the opening closed.
