PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for thermally decomposing waste plastics while easily recovering and removing residues in a thermally decomposing vessel and also preventing the damage of an agitator.;SOLUTION: This device of thermal decomposition 1 installed at a liquefaction-treating system of the waste plastics is equipped with a thermal decomposition vessel 2 for thermally decomposing the waste plastics by heating with a furnace part 6, an agitator 3 supported as rotatable in the thermal decomposition vessel 2 and agitating the waste plastics, a torque sensor 4 for detecting a load torque acting on the agitator 3 and a controlling device 5 for controlling the rotation of the agitator 3 in response to the load torque detected by the torque sensor 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
