PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for installing reference line for centering elevator equipment that surely arranges a reference line for centering elevator equipment into a desired position while suspending the reference line from an upper part in a hoistway into a pit without hooking on equipment in the hoistway installed in the hoistway beforehand.;SOLUTION: This method of installing reference line for centering elevator equipment includes: an initial suspending step deliverying a predetermined amount of piano wire 20a from a reference position 25a set on the upper part in the hoistway 2 and suspending the piano wire 20a; a suspending position moving step moving the suspending portion of the piano wire 20a such that the piano wire 20a suspends from the reference position 25a through a suspending position positioned on the center side in a car lifting/lowering space 3A; a reference line deliverying step deliverying the piano wire 20a from the reference position 25a; and a suspending position returning step moving the suspending position to perpendicularly below the reference position 25a after a weight 30 is reached to the inside of the pit 2a, and suspending the piano wire 20a from the reference position 25a in the perpendicular direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
