PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve homogeneity of an air and fuel mixture in a combustor.;SOLUTION: The mixing hole arrangement 26 for improving homogeneity of the air and fuel mixture in the combustor includes a plurality of mixing holes 26 defined by a liner 12, wherein at least one of the plurality of mixing holes 18 is at least one of sized and positioned to impede penetration of a fluid flow into a primary mixing zone located in a head end of the combustor.
