PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a plurality of liquefaction countermeasure drains, which are annexed on existing ground, as wells for collecting groundwater.SOLUTION: An intake or drainage method utilizing a liquefaction countermeasure drain is characterized as follows: the liquefaction countermeasure drains vertically installed according to a grid system at predetermined intervals on ground retaining groundwater, and intake and drainage means annexed to the drains are provided; and the plurality of drains are utilized as wells for collecting and discharging the groundwater.
