PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge type cable way trouble survey device capable of identifying easily which direction a trouble point exists in, when positioned in the vicinity of a branch point in an electric wire.;SOLUTION: This charge type cable way trouble survey device is provided with magnetic sensors 3a, 3b for detecting bidirectional (X, Y) orthogonal magnetic fields, and an warning means for extracting and outputting a component of voice frequency band included in a time-differentiation of the magnetic field detected by each of the magnetic sensors 3a, 3b.
