PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is troublesome for a user who does not want to hold stock of all kinds of consumables but wants to properly hold stock of minimum required consumables, to set an upper limit quantity of inventory and the like.SOLUTION: An inventory management device is connected to image processor groups via a network and performs, per device group, inventory management of consumables such as toner cartridges for use in image processors and includes: inventory information storage means where stock quantity information, image processor information, device group information, and predictive replacement timing with respect to each kind of consumables are stored as inventory information per device group in association with one another; and stock replenishment consumables selection means which selects consumables to be replenished as stock. When a prescribed consumption state indicating a timing of consumables stock replenishment occurs, the stock replenishment consumables selection means refers to the inventory information about a device group to which a pertinent image processor belongs, to select consumables being out of stock, of which the predictive replacement timing will come within a selection period having a preliminarily set reference length, as consumables to be replenished as stock.
