PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zinc oxide whisker-containing resin composition which endures high temperature environment and can maintain high rigidity for a long time and to provide a gear molding, a gear blank molding, a gear, and a gear blank using the zinc oxide whisker-containing resin composition; a speed reducer using the same; and also a power steering apparatus using such a speed reducer.;SOLUTION: The zinc oxide whisker-containing resin composition is obtained by blending a resin component (A) including a polyether sulfone, a polyarylene sulfide, and an epoxy group-containing α-olefin-based copolymer with a zinc oxide-based whisker(B) with a mass ratio (A:B) of 92:8 to 99.9:0.1. A mass ratio of the total amount of the polyether sulfone and the polyarylene sulfide to an amount of the epoxy group-containing α-olefin-based copolymer is 70:30 to 95:5, and a mass ratio of the polyether sulfone to the polyarylene sulfide is 50:50 to 90:10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
