PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a term extraction device, a method, and a term dictionary data structure capable of reducing a system load while a plurality of specific terms are extracted at a high speed.;SOLUTION: A term extraction server 1 includes: an index DB21 in which a top character string of at least predetermined number of bytes from the top of a term is associated to a character string length of the term, and is stored as an index; a term DB22 which stores a term corresponding to a top character string as actual data; an index searching means 13 which searches for a character string in the article of a blog that agrees with the top character string in the index DB21 by reading a continuous character string of a predetermined number of characters from the article of blog; a term determination means 14 which reads a character string of the length corresponding to the top character string agreeing with the character string searched by referencing the index DB21 from the article of a blog, extracts a target character string, and determines agreement with the term stored in the term DB22; and an extracted term DB24 which stores the target character string at determination of agreement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
