PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for processing an integrated signal in a convergence network based on an IP are provided to independently perform each kind of function for service provision regardless of wired and wireless networks. CONSTITUTION: A first processing unit(11) performs IP(Internet Protocol) connection between a first user terminal and a second user terminal based on address information for first and second user terminals. A second processing unit(12) registers a service for the first and second user terminals between which IP connection is performed. The second processing unit permits the entry of a data traffic using a protocol of an application corresponding to the registered service in order to transmit data traffic depending on the service requested between the terminals.
