PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which permits a tag receiving a query signal transmitted from a predetermined reader to transmit a response signal to the received query signal only to the predetermined reader.;SOLUTION: In an IC tag communication system, a reader transmits a query signal including an ID for identifying a self-machine. A tag receives the query signal and transmits a response signal including the ID included in the query signal. The reader receives the response signal, and only when the ID included in the received response signal is identical with the ID of the self-machine, the reader performs processing using the response signal. When the interrogator receives a response signal including an ID different from that of the self-machine, it destroys the received response signal and behaves as a device not having received a response signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
