PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front door locking mechanism of a game machine, allowing a lock member to be set at a locking position only when a front door is closed, capable of achieving a stable locked state of the front door, and applicable regardless of the form of the front door.;SOLUTION: The front door locking mechanism has control means for prohibiting the lock member from being set at the locking position when a sensor, which can detect the opened/closed state of the front door, detects the opened state of the front door, or permitting the lock member to be set at the locking position when the sensor detects the closed state of the front door. The lock member has a shape corresponding to the shape of the outer peripheral edge of the front door, and the front end of the lock member is locked to the front face of the outer peripheral edge of the front door in a non-contact state. The height of the lock member in the back and forth direction is adjustable according to the shape of the front face of the outer peripheral edge of the front door.
