A method for checking information of a displayed article by an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) system, a method for checking a purchase article with the RFID system, and a recording medium and a system thereof are provided to guarantee confidence of goods information and prevent leaking/forgery of tag information before purchase, and increase an operation efficiency by checking the information of the displayed article with the RFID system. A mobile reader(120) receives a certificate including location information of an OIS(Object Information Service) server(130) and a certification value from a local server(150) in a shop, requests an article ID when a user requests the information for the article displayed in the shop, and transmits an encoded tag ID and the certification value to the OIS server. The RFID tag(110) transmits the information encoding the tag ID with the certification value to the mobile reader when an ID request is received from the mobile reader. The OIS server searches and transmits data corresponding to the tag ID to the mobile reader when the received certificating value is found in a database. The local server stores the location information of the OIS server and the certificate including the certification value.
