PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a liquid, storage-stable isocyanate mixture which has a carbodiimide group and/or a urethoneimine group and has no conventional disadvantage, and to manufacture a liquid, storage-stable isocyanate mixture which indicates a low color number.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an organic isocyanate having a carbodiimide group and/or a urethoneimine group involves the steps: (1) carbodiimidizing partially an isocyanate group of an organic isocyanate in the presence of one or more kinds of phospholene-type catalysts, (2) subsequently stopping the carbodiimidizing reaction by the addition of a silylated acid corresponding to general formula: X-[Si(CH3)3]n [wherein, X and n are each the same as described in the specification], and (3) adding a compound selected from the group consisting of a non-silylated acid, an acid chloride, a sulfonate and a mixture thereof.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
