PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a system burden by selectively processing response information irregularly from respective mode A/C airplanes in a multilateration system which extracts the position information of a plurality of airplanes.;SOLUTION: The multilateration system includes a plurality of receiving stations 1, 2, ... which receive squitter signals or SSR response signals from a transponder mounted to an airplane (target), and a position information calculating means (center station) 120 which calculates the three-dimension position information of the target from an arrival time delay among received signals for obtaining the discrimination information of the target. Each of the receiving stations 1, 2, ... includes an SSR response decoding means 12 which analyzes the information of the received SSR response signal, and a message generating means 13 which edits messages obtained here like a mode S squitter, a mode S response, and a mode A/C to be output to a center station, and is provided with a mode A/C signal thinning means 14 for irregularly selecting the mode A/C with time which is sent to the message generating means 13.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
