When a lens position condition is changed from a wide-angle end state to a telephoto end state, a space between the front lens group FG and the first lens group RG1 varies, a space between the first lens group RG1 and the second lens group RG2 increases, and a space between the second lens group RG2 and the third lens group RG3 decreases.
