Zinc and lead are usually present concomitantly in Zn PB ores and waste.It has developed a process for selectively leaching Hydrometallurgical cleaner and Recover zinc (Zn), a Mineral compound that contains LEAD (PB), and Zinc sulfide, Crushed Rock or mineral particles untreated unconsolidatedWaste of grinding and / or waste material containing zinc sulfide, whether or not agglomerated operation without need of Smelting and Refining. It has been discovered that is a combination of selected effective oxidant and alkali metal hydroxide.It employs a lixiviant for example that is a mixture of Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) to selectively dissolve zinc Sulphide in high pH at Standard temperature and pressure (STP). The Kinetics of leaching with the variant (preferably effect of the concentration of Sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite) were investigated systematically.The ore feeding containing diverse group of Minerals, for example, sulphides and carbonates can also conveniently treated to selectively Recover and almost quantitatively Zinc as ZINC CARBONATE of high purity. This technology can be used in situ or ex situ based on the softness of a particular type of ore deposit and mineral food.
