ORAL COMPOSITION, ORAL CARE MANUFACTURING ARTICLE, AND METHOD FOR PREVENTION OR REDUCTION OF AN INFLAMMATORY PROCESS, AND FOR PREVENTION OR TREATMENT OF A RELATED DENTAL DISEASE. The present invention relates to an oral composition usable for reducing inflammatory processes. More specifically, the invention relates to a composition consisting essentially of an antioxidant effective amount of morine and an aqueous phase containing a humectant and a composition comprising an antioxidant effective amount of morine, one or more antibacterial agents and an aqueous phase containing a humectant. In one embodiment, the composition is used in a method of preventing or treating inflammatory dental diseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis.
