In the present invention, there is disclosed a process for preparing proton-conducting inorganic-organic phosphate-silicon membrane intended for medium temperature H2/O2 fuel cells wherein the preparation process is characterized by successive dosing of starting components that are represented by Hi3POi4, SiOi2, (CHi3)i2SiCli2 and Si(OCi2Hi5)i4.
