The present invention relates to the administration of compositions comprising cis-clomiphene and trans-clomiphene or salts or analogs thereof for manufacturing a medicament for reducing glucose serum concentration in a subject with secondary or idiopathic hypogonadism. The present invention also relates to the administration of compositions comprising cis-clomiphene and trans-clomiphene or salts or analogs thereof for manufacturing a medicament for reducing fasting glucose level in a subject with secondary or idiopathic hypogonadism.
