The invention referred herein for the grant of the patent is a technical advancement in a safety device meant for the automotive segment, particularly for two-wheeler vehicles. The electronic Automotive Side-stand Retractor System (eASRS) is an electro-mechanical contraption that retracts automatically when the vehicle is switched on. The mechanical components of the eASRS are controlled by a specially devised computer program embedded on a microchip found in the Electronic Module of the eASRS. The mechanical design of the eASRS makes the side stands extremely study with provisions for use with varying classes of two wheeler vehicles. The eASRS besides has the advantage of being retrofitted even in existing vehicles for safety.
