Anti-corrosion system (7) as lining (8) for a metal component (3), whose arrangement is intended in the active region of an electrolyte (4) in the form of sea water. According to the invention, the lining (8) is made of a sheet, which is bonded to the metal component (3) in an electrically conductive manner, wherein the sheet is composed of a metal that is more noble when compared to the metal component (3) and thus exhibits a higher potential. Acting as a lining of the metal component (3), the sheet therefore represents a closed circumferential covering of parts of the steel structure (1 b).
