Galphimine Glauca synthesizes a variety of triterpene compounds such as galphimines, which have anxiolytic properties. The present invention provides a biotechnological process for the production of anxiolytic galphimines from an in vitro culture, said process being based on cell immobilization, or medium formulation and stimulation of cell cultures. The results of the present invention permit an industrial-scale production of each galphimine compound.
