Described is a bump for the temporal control of vehicular transit, which is formed by a base plate, a flexible plate, an inflatable air bladder, an arrangement of valves and sensors and an arrangement of visual and sound indicators; which allows a bump to be quickly installed or removed in roads where the vehicular transit must be controlled for a predetermined period of time. Said collapsible bump for controlling vehicular transit must be automated in order to be integrated to a local, municipal or regional system for controlling traffic. Moreover, the collapsible bump may be easily installed and removed. The collapsible bump may be inflated by passing a fluid at pressure to the inflatable air bladder. The fluid at pressure may be water at pressure from the municipal net, compressed air, or any other fluid at pressure. The bump is characterised in that it may display signals to the operator for indicating that it is in use; it may have different forms to be anchored to the pavement; a strip of colour is display for warning vehicle users; a different number of inflatable air bladders and parts are provided for an easy reposition of the same if necessary.
