The method further includes assessing the quality of the communication channel with a client (415) of a user to determine whether to use forward error correction (FEC). Based on the assessment, a determination is made of which portions of the video and audio of the low-latency streaming compressed A/V data and user commands (406a, 406b) FEC should be applied to. FEC is then applied based on the determination and the low-latency streaming compressed A/V data is routed to each of the clients (415) over a corresponding communication channel.
