600045 Disclosed is a fibrous product, such as a tissue paper product, non-woven product or a hybrid thereof, having at least one ply with an embossing pattern at least partly covering the surface thereof. The fibrous product is preferably a hygiene and cleaning product. The embossing pattern comprises at least one first continuous zone (12), a plurality of second zones (16) and at least one third zone (18). The first continuous zone is micro-embossed with at least 25 embossing depressions per cm² to form a background embossing area. The plurality of second zones are non-embossed. The at least one third zone is largely surround by linear depressions (20). All second zones and third zones are arranged such that they are isolated from each other. Alternatively, all second zones and third zones are arranged such that they partly overlap each other. This arrangement of second and third zones provides the advantages of enhanced visual appearance of the fibrous product and greater perceived softness to the user. Also disclosed is an embossing roll, an embossing device and a method for manufacturing such fibrous products.
