Disclosed is a polymer-containing composition adapted for application to solid fertilizer products, said polymer-containing composition including a copolymer containing individual quantities of maleic and itaconic moieties, and from about 5 to 60 per cent by weight of an organic alcohol drying agent, such as methanol.
