The device (2) has a holder (6) provided at a base body (4) for holding a pipe (8). Two supporting units (12, 14) i.e. rollers, are arranged at a side (10) of the holder to support the pipe. Scrapper heads (16) are arranged on an opposite side (15) of the holder and exhibit prism-type scrapper edges (18, 20). The supporting units and the scrapper edges are arranged mirror symmetrical to each other. The supporting units are designed as additional scrapper heads, where distance between the heads and the supporting units is adjustable via a threaded spindle.
