The method of finishing textiles of cellulose or synthetic fibres and blends thereof that gives them bacteriostatic and antistatic properties and the ability to screen them against the impact of electrostatic field, and the properties of chemical sensors for organic liquids and their vapours, consists in that the product's surface is first digitally printed over with a crosslinking composition of water emulsion of crosslinking substance and photoinitiator and, after drying the product without access of light and at the temperature not higher than 70°C, the product's surface is simultaneously digitally printed over with two inks containing the components necessary to polymerise pyrolle, one of which is a mixture alcoholic pyrolle solution and water or alcoholic solution of an anion admixture or admixtures, the other ink being an aqueous oxidant solution, after which the product is dried at the temperature not higher than 70°C and irradiated with Hg lamp radiation or UV-C radiation.
