THIS INVENTION PRESENTS A METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE AUTOMATIC FOLLOW-UP OF HEAT SOURCES, ESPECIALLY FROM THE SUN, INSPIRED BY THE NATURAL SUNFLOWER MOVEMENT, PROVIDING AN OPTIMIZATION OF THE IMPACT OF RADIATION. THE COORDINATED ACTION OF THE SYSTEM RESULTS OF DIFFERENT THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES, MAINLY THE THERMAL EXPANSION, OF VARIOUS PARTS - EXPOSED TO THE SOURCE OF HEAT OR SHADOW. A SPECIFIC DESIGN OF MECHANICAL UNITS INCLUDING ELEMENTS THAT REACTIVATE HEAT, LEVERS AND JOINTS CAN REPRODUCE THE NATURAL PHOTOTROPIC BEHAVIOR OF THE SUNFLOWER IN THE SEARCH OF HEAT SOURCES. FOR THIS REASON, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO USE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS FOR THIS TASK.
