The invention relates to a system for remotely monitoring the weather conditions, weather warning and forecasting. According to the invention, the system consists of some weather stations (), each station () incorporating a series of pressure, humidity, temperature sensors () and a communication and computation system () which configures the weather station (), stores the values measured by the sensors (), issues weather forecasts and communicates the data to a server () which, in its turn, centralizes the data collected from all the weather stations () which are assigned thereto, takes over the current data as well as the weather forecasts from specialized sites in the internet, generates forecasts based on the data received from the weather stations () and from the specialized sites, compares the current and forecast data to the normal values for the corresponding period of the year and issues reports/warnings sent by e-mail or SMS to the interested persons.
