The present invention relates to a process for preparing purified concentrated extracts of Geranium robertianum and Helleborus purpurascens characterized by the use of membrane micro filtration and ultra filtration technologies through which there are achieved both the extract purification and concentration. The claimed process consists in extracting the vegetable product with bidistilled water, at a vegetable : solvent ratio of 5:100...10:100, at 25...30°C, followed by filtering the extract which is pre-filtered, in a first stage, through a filtering cartridge exhibiting a pore size of 50 μm or 25 μm, while, in the second stage, it is subjected to micro filtration through a membrane exhibiting a pore size of 0.22...1 μm, at a pressure of 1.5...3 bar, the resulting micro filtrate being then concentrated by ultra filtration. The resulting extracts have inhibiting effects on the evolution of neoplastic cell cultures HeLa and Hep-2p, in ratios of more than 70% for the aqueous ones and of more than 85% for the hydro-alcoholic ones.
