The invention relates to an air-conditioning installation for the buildings of the electric transforming substations by recovering the energy losses from the power transformers. According to the invention, the installation has three heat transfer stages, using as thermal agents, the electric insulating oil and softened water, in the first stage the heat being taken over from the electric insulating oil, through the hot water handled by means of an electro-pump () with variable flow rate, there being used one of the two plate heat exchangers () for each of the two power transformers (), in the second stage, by means of a hot water storing tank (), there being provided the damping and storing, these stages being needed in such a process as a consequence of the variations of the heat generated in the transformer (), on the one hand, and of the variations of the heat requirement at the level of an electric substation (), on the other hand, and in the third stage there is performed the useful air-conditioning of the electric substation (), based on the heat taken over from the corresponding power transformers (), in the cold season there being performed the heating of the electric substation () and during the hot season, the cooling thereof, the installation also producing hot water for the electric substation domestic consumption.
