METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DIRECTED DESTRUCTION OF SECTION OF ROCK MASSIF DEFINED BY PECULIARITIES OF CARRYING OUT MINE WORKS

The invention relates to mining. A device for directed destruction of an area of a rock massif comprises rock-destroying instrument arranged as a wheel with a hub, spokes and rim. The end sections of the spokes are arranged as wedges, this provides following breakage of rock lumps. The end sections of the instrument are equipped with cutting hard-alloy elements with capability of replacement of cutting edge. The rock-destroying instrument forms directed pulse effect on rock section determined with schedule peculiarities of development of rock massif. This provides formation of technological cavity with given volume and makes it possible to form technological cavity arranged at angle to horizon. Rock-destroying instrument performs translational-rotary motion due to cable turning on and off. This provides removal of broken rock mass out of the boundaries of technological cavity and promotes decrease of specific resistance of rock to destruction.
