PROCESS FOR FOULING CONTROL OF ZEBRA MUSSELS

The invention relates to hydrobiology, namely to processes for control of biological barriers in reverse systems of water treating and cooling of water in water supply systems. A process for fouling control of zebra mussels comprises the use of filters with gratings and chemical affinity. According to the invention as filters grating system for mechanical treatment of water from adults of zebra mussels is used. Then the treated water, populated with young stock of zebra mussels is given for further chemical treatment. As chemical affinity for the treatment of water ozone is used, given at low pressure to the system of closed reactors, through which the treating water is passed and in which ozone concentration is brought to 6-10 mg/dmof water and hold duration of contact during 6-10 minutes, causing absolute death of young stock of zebra mussels. The process provides the efficiency control increasing with biological barriers, such as zebra mussels at its cheapening, thus treatment efficiency increasing of reverse water and its quality.
