摘要
The invention relates to systems used to obtain carbides of transition metals, which are used in powder metallurgy for obtaining hard alloys and manufacturing cutting tools. A device for synthesis of finely dispersed carbides of transition metals comprises a cylindrical body filled with organic liquid with a lid, a positive electrode, which is located along the axis of the body and consists of working and non-working parts, a bottom, which is a negative electrode, and a gas discharge tube, which is located on a lid. According to the invention, it is equipped with a partition with holes mounted inside in the upper part of the body, and a rod, which is mounted in the lower part of the bottom aligned with the positive electrode and is a negative electrode, and both rod and positive electrode are mounted with possibility of movement along the axis, and the working part of the positive electrode is made in the form of a rod, on which a hollow head in the form of a truncated cone is mounted, on whose side surface through vertical slots are made, whose height is equal to the height of 2-3 values of the interelectrode gap, while the upper part of the bottom is made with an axial tapered hole, and the minimum distance between the lateral surfaces of a conical nozzle and conical hole of the bottom is equal to the interelectrode gap, while the diameter of the inner surface of upper part of the body is equal to 1.25-2.0 of the diameter of inner surface of lower part of the body, and as a working organic liquid a suspension is used consisting of transition metal powder in carbohydrate liquid. The invention will enable implementation of high-voltage pulsed discharge in the treatment area in both axial and radial directions, and increase of the number of output metal particles located in the zone of processing by high-voltage pulsed discharges, and thus increase yield of synthesized highly dispersed carbides of transition metals.
